EngagementsHow I work
I take on three kinds of engagements, designed around the four layers of The Membership Engine. Each can stand alone, or build toward the full system. Every engagement ends with the team running it without me.
OverviewThe three engagements
TIER 01
The Funnel Build
Audience layer.
Best for businesses with the operations together but no real growth engine.
From $18,000 · 2–4 weeks
TIER 02
The Operations Build
Engine Room + Visibility.
Best for businesses with a growing audience but no infrastructure underneath.
From $25,000 · 4–6 weeks
TIER 03
The Full Integration
All four layers.
Best for businesses ready to build the whole engine — designed to work as one integrated system.
From $50,000 · 8 weeks
TIER 01 — THE FUNNEL BUILDA custom growth engine for a business that already runs
If your operations are working — your team has rhythm, your dashboards exist, your weekly meetings happen — but the funnel feeding new members into your business is leaky or doesn't exist, this is the engagement.
I build the Audience layer: the path from cold traffic to paying member, designed for your audience and your product.
What’s IncludedA custom funnel architecture covering all four tiers — traffic sources, entry points, email list, and member acquisition. Lead magnet design (concept, copy, and structure). An email nurture sequence with copy. Two ongoing newsletter formats with copy and rhythm. Landing page strategy and wireframes. A Linktree (or equivalent entry-point) design or redesign. Email service provider tag architecture (Kit, Flodesk, Mailchimp — your platform). A complete asset checklist with priority order for build-out. A 30-day implementation support window after handoff.
From $18,000
2–4 weeks | 50% at signing · 50% at delivery
TIER 02 — THE OPERATIONS BUILDA real operating system underneath the business
If your audience is growing but the team is running on willpower — decisions in DMs, tasks in someone's head, no shared scorecard, no rhythm — this is the engagement.
I build the Engine Room and Visibility layers: a custom project management workspace, a documented operating system, and the dashboards that let you see what's working without opening five different tools.
What’s IncludedA complete project management workspace build-out on your chosen platform. Vision & Core Values document. An Accountability Chart naming who owns each function. Custom Scorecards for each role on the team. Quarterly Rocks framework with a starter set. A documented Core Processes List. The "EOS-lite" weekly meeting structure (the L10 agenda with timing and rules). Up to seven custom dashboards designed for Airtable, with KPI selection tailored to your business. A 30-day implementation support window after handoff.
From $25,000
6 weeks | 40% signing · 30% midpoint · 30% delivery
TIER 03 — THE FULL INTEGRATIONThe complete Membership Engine, designed to work as one system
If your business has audience and needs operating infrastructure, building one without the other doesn't work. The funnel produces data the dashboards need. The dashboards become scorecards the operating system runs on. The operating system documents how the funnel runs.
None of it works unless all of it works.
This engagement builds all four layers — Audience, Community, Engine Room, and Visibility — designed from day one as a single integrated system.
WHATS INCLUDED
Everything from The Funnel Build — complete funnel architecture, lead magnet, email sequences, landing pages, entry-point design.
Everything from The Operations Build — project management workspace, EOS-lite framework, accountability chart, scorecards, dashboards.
Plus the Community layer — onboarding sequences for free and paid tiers, a content rhythm covering anchored, floating, and reactive content with templates, member journey design, and the experience differentiation that makes upgrade paths work.
Plus the integration layer — the cross-system design that makes the funnel feed the dashboards, the dashboards drive the scorecards, the operating system document the funnel, and the loop close.
A 60-day implementation support window after handoff (twice as long as the standalone engagements, given the integration complexity).
From $50,000
8 weeks | 40% signing · 30% midpoint · 30% delivery
Case StudyHow the work actually unfolds
Every engagement follows the same arc: a focused build phase where I produce the system, then a handoff phase where I train your team to run it.
Discovery & build kickoff
A working session where I take you through what I'm proposing to build, in detail, before I build it. We adjust the scope to your business — the four-layer framework is the same, but every business needs its own version of each layer. By the end of week one, you have a clear picture of what's coming.
Week 1Build
I build the systems. You stay in the loop with weekly check-ins and async updates as deliverables land. You review and provide feedback on each major piece as it ships. I do the work; you direct the priorities.
Most of itHandoff & training
I walk your team through everything I've built. The Director of Operations (or whoever owns the system going forward) gets trained on the L10 agenda, the dashboards, the workspace, and the operating rhythm. Each role-owner gets walked through their scorecard. The founder gets trained on the dashboards. By the end, the team is running the system without me in the room.
Final 1-2 WeeksI’m out
I exit at the end of the engagement window. If you need ongoing support, that's a separate conversation — not a default extension.
ThenGetting startedHow we start
If you think we might be a fit, the contact form is the place to begin. It asks a handful of questions about your business so I can review your project before we talk.
If it looks like a fit, I'll send a link to schedule a 30–45 minute discovery call within a couple of business days. On the call, we'll go deeper into what you're working on, what you've already tried, and which engagement structure would actually serve you. Sometimes that's one of the three above; sometimes the right answer is something else.
After the call, you'll have a written proposal within 3–5 business days outlining scope, timeline, price, and payment terms. If we both want to move forward, the proposal becomes the contract.
I take on a small number of engagements each year. Reaching out doesn't commit you to anything — it starts the conversation.
